Boarding Information

Spotlight:

When Ariel arrived at R2R she was grossly underweight from starvation in a self-care barn.  Ariel looks and feels great now and we use her new condition as the model of what we strive to see in every horse boarded at R2R.

Room To Ride strives to maintain the well-being of every horse and because of that, boarding here is a personal service tailored to each individual horse and owner. This daily service encompasses stall cleaning, horse turnout, 3 feedings of hay, and 2 feedings of a low carbohydrate 12% protein pelleted feed. Daily turnout means that horses are walked to and from their turnout, and are given the opportunity to stretch, exercise, and play outside, whenever possible. Additionally, Room To Ride will put/take blankets and boots on or off for no extra charge. Furthermore, trailer parking and giving horses owner-provided supplements incur no additional charges.

However, board at Room To Ride does not include paste worming, farrier visits, vet visits, horse supplements, and any feed other than what we normally administer. If you think of any other services not listed above, please ask us.

For your convenience, drop boxes are placed near the restroom and in the seating area of the indoor arena for the payment of board and lessons. Board payments are due the first of every month.

Owners and horses have very little to worry about here. Our daily routine helps to ensure that all of the horses boarded at R2R are happy and healthy. We are very accommodating and for this reason, the barn and facilities are never closed. Come as often as you like and enjoy spending quality time with your horse.
